Cartridge World's market presence may be large, but the number of employees needed to operate a store is not, Yarkin said. Most successful franchisees only employ two to four employees.
With no technical experience necessary, franchisees manage the business while hiring production and sales assistance, Yarkin said. Production workers operate the refilling machines, while salespeople assist with customer service.
Cartridge World's business model is unique. Not only do franchisees benefit from their retail business, but they profit from B2B services as well, Yarkin said.
Using recycled cartridges, the company can refill everything from printer to copier and fax machine cartridges. It's environmentally friendly, and saves customers up to 50 percent over the cost of purchasing a new cartridge.

While a sales background is ideal, Cartridge World is looking for franchisees willing to follow an established system, Yarkin said.
Additionally, they're seeking individuals with a minimum net worth of $200,000, Yarkin said. SBA approved, Cartridge World has strong relationships with the largest SBA lenders, Yarkin said.
Once new franchisees are selected, they enjoy an instructive 2-week training session at Cartridge World's headquarters in California, Yarkin said. With 8,000 square feet, their training facility is the largest of its kind, Yarkin said.
During training, franchisees learn technical aspects, point of sales elements, and customer service components, Yarkin said.
Offering an opportunity for franchisees to meet and learn, most training sessions comprise about 20 to 30 people, Yarkin said. It's a great experience.
After corporate headquarters training is complete, franchisees receive 3-weeks of in-store training too.
"We have a dedicated staff," Yarkin said. And, their goal is to see every franchisee flourish.
Coupled with training and dedication, Cartridge World has invested even more in helping franchisees become successful, Yarkin said.
One unique investment is their Master Franchisee program. Helping new franchisees jump-start their business, Masters serve as mentors to newcomers, Yarkin said. As a direct support system, Masters assist with everything from start to finish.
Master Franchisees are located in many regions throughout the U.S. and world, Yarkin said. In fact, Yarkin describes them as their "regional offices."
