Payless Car Rental Offers First Day Free for Week of September 9

Payless Car Rental System, Inc. is offering the first day free when a car rental is secured at any U.S. airport Payless Car Rental location September 9 - 13, 2002. Walk-up travelers receive the "Catch The Spirit" first day free at participating Payless Car Rental airport counters.

"While the events of last year changed the way we travel and the way in which we live, the American spirit is stronger today than ever before," said Michael Harley, president and chief operating officer, Payless Car Rental System, Inc. "Our `Catch The Spirit' promotion acknowledges customers who express their freedom to travel during this sensitive time period."

The promotion is available for all vehicle sizes with a minimum 3-day rental. Additional location specific promotions will be taking place in September with great savings available in Denver and Chicago.
