Pat O'Brien's Announces the Opening of its 4th Location: Memphis, Tennessee

Pat O'Brien's, a New Orleans icon famous for its Entertainment, Bar, and Restaurant concept, and world famous Hurricane drink, has announced the September 8th opening of Pat O'Brien's Memphis.

Pat O'Brien's International, Inc. executed a Franchise agreement with Hurricane Memphis, LLC for Pat O'Brien's-Memphis which is located at 310 Beale Street at the corner of Beale Street and Rufus Thomas Drive in the heart of the famous Beale Street Historic District. The newly constructed entertainment facility was built to closely replicate the famous 1789 building in New Orleans's French Quarter.

Pat O'Brien's continues to expand its operations with the selection of Pat O'Brien's-Memphis. The opening of Pat O'Brien's Cancun, Mexico in 1991 and Pat O'Brien's Orlando, Florida in 1999, has clearly established acceptance of its concept outside New Orleans.

Bill Warshauer, who heads Pat O'Brien's International, Inc. says, "We are very excited for the opportunity to have Pat O'Brien's-Memphis part of our growing corporate family. Mr. Warshauer stated, "selecting Memphis involved extensive research and is overwhelmingly the right city for our 4th Pat O'Brien's. Visitors from all over the world have continued to experience Pat O'Brien's for more than 68 years. It is only natural to want to bring a piece of New Orleans to Memphis. Pat O'Brien's-Memphis is a perfect match for our concept, and the excitement continues with thousands of people now visiting the new Memphis location."

In addition to Pat O'Brien's Memphis, further Franchising and corporate expansion is progressing, says owner, George D. Oechsner III, who stated that growth for his 68-year-old Entertainment, Bar, and Restaurant is part of the business plan for the next five years.
