Maui Wowi Announces New President

Maui Wowi, the leading franchisor of gourmet, all-natural, Hawaiian Blend refreshments sold at kiosks nationwide, recently announced the appointment of Mark Challis as Maui Wowi?s new president.

Challis, who recently joined Maui Wowi, has over ten years of service as a legal, financial and operations executive in franchising, software development, business and tax consulting.

"I believe that Mark Challis' excellent track record in Franchising will help Maui Wowi's growing management team effectively handle the company's tremendous growth," said Michael Haith, CEO of Maui Wowi. "He will be able to position and lead Maui Wowi to new heights by developing a strategic vision for the company and communicating it throughout the Franchise system."

Challis has an extensive background in the business and franchising world including serving as the vice president at Evolving Systems, Inc. He has also held the positions of president and CEO of The Packaging Store and various management positions at Price Waterhouse, LLP.

As Maui Wowi's new president, Challis will be working to improve operational support for the Maui Wowi franchise system, working with the real estate team to expand the Maui Wowi concept and developing the company's strategic vision.

In addition to smoothies and Kona Espresso drinks, they've also added Maui Wowi Smoothie Rip- Sticks, all natural, fat-free, squeeze-ups made up of all fruit and yogurt in addition to its signature all natural pre-blended smoothies (an all-natural blend of fresh fruit, non-fat yogurt). Maui Wowi was rated number 38 in the category of fastest growing Franchises on the Entrepreneur Magazine franchise 500 list.
