In 1995, i9 Sports (known in New York as ABA Sports) was founded on Long Island, and began with 35 teams in an adult softball league. Since then, ABA Sports has become the largest adult recreational organization on Long Island, with over 800 teams and 10,000 members.

After the success of the local league began to grow, Fiume began to realize the power of his dream. The potential was great to bring a successful, well run organization to sports enthusiasts everywhere. Thus, the i9 Sports franchise.

i9 franchise owners have the option to own and operate Leagues, Tournaments, Camps, & Clinics for youth or adults in a wide variety of sports.

Owners generate revenue from multiple sources, including: team/player entry fees, the sale of retail sporting goods, customized uniforms, corporate sponsorships, and special events.
