Hooters Air to Expand Service to Newark

Hooters Air will expand its flight operations when it adds services from Newark, NJ to the popular golfing city of Myrtle Beach, SC effective April 3rd. An event is planned at the Hooters Air gate of the Newark Liberty International Airport. All media are invited to attend a 3:00 PM press conference and ribbon cutting ceremony, which precedes the April 3rd flight. Remarks will be made by airport officials, Mike McNeil, Hooters of America Vice President of Marketing and Mark Peterson, Chief Operating Officer of Hooters Air. In a reception following the press conference, Hooters Girls will be serving nearly world famous chicken wings and cake. The first flight from Newark will leave at 7:55 PM.

"The addition of service between Newark and Myrtle Beach makes sense because it is a virtually untapped market in terms of direct flights," stated Hooters of America Vice President of Marketing Mike McNeil. "Hooters Air makes it easy to take a last minute golf getaway trip with its flat rates and 'easy to buy, fun to fly' philosophy."

Flights will be offered most days between the two cities, at a rate of $159 for a one-way flight. Hooters Air charter flights are operated by Pace Airlines d/b/a Hooters Air. Fares do not include taxes, passenger facility charges, and September 11th security fees totaling up to $10 each way. Hooters Air currently has routes between Atlanta and Myrtle Beach and will be servicing additional cities in the near future.
