Hooters 20th Anniversary Celebration Begins

The 2003 Hooters Calendar Girls will launch the popular Restaurant chain's 20th anniversary celebration festivities with appearances at two San Diego Hooter's locations Superbowl weekend. On Saturday, January 25th, the girls will kick off the celebration at the Pacific Beach Hooters from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will continue the celebration through Sunday, January 26th at the Mission Valley restaurant beginning at 10:00 a.m. Joined by athletes from throughout the country and hundreds of their loyal customers, representatives from Hooters of America, Inc. will announce plans for their upcoming twentieth anniversary celebration, "Hooters 1983-2003: A Delightfully Double Decade."

The yearlong celebration will feature something for everyone. From 20% dscounts at over 330 Hooters locations on the 20th of every month, to the Hooters International Swimsuit Competition and the opportunity to play blackjack for $20,000 at a Las Vegas celebration in July, Hooters customers will be able to join in the celebration with the country's hottest restaurant.

Hooters announced it will sponsor the following activities over 2003:

• Birthday parties in every Hooters restaurant on the 20th of each month starting January 20th with a 20% cstomer discount on all food and merchandise
• An exclusive 20th Anniversary collectable merchandise line
• A "Double Decade" promotion from April 28-June 1st, including sweepstakes trips to the Las Vegas celebration
• The 20th Anniversary Celebration bash at the Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on July 8th-9th with customers, managers, employees, franchisees, vendors and alumni. • In Las Vegas, 100 beautiful Hooters girls from around the world are expected to compete in the 7th annual Hooters International Swimsuit Contest on July 9th
• Five lucky customers will win a trip to Las Vegas and the opportunity to play one hand of blackjack for $20,000 at the Vegas celebration. Customers can register to win at any Hooters location from April 28-June 1 during the Double Decade promotion
• VH1 will produce and air a special Hooters "All Access" documentary to air several times during 2003
