Heavenly Ham Owners 'Drive Home' their Profits - Literally (7/03)

Heavenly Ham franchisees, Brenda and Buddy Catron, don't consider themselves hams, yet they were the center of attention at a national conference last month when they literally "drove home" the profits of their Heavenly Ham Franchise after winning a shiny red 2003 Ford Explorer.

As part of a sales incentive competition sponsored by Heavenly Ham, the Catrons earned keys for an opportunity to win the car. Every time they "fattened" up their sales by seven percent throughout the year they earned an additional key. The competition was open to more than 165 Heavenly Ham franchisees nationwide.

Each key that a franchisee earned qualified them to submit their name in a bin for the drawing. During the recent 2003 Heavenly Ham National Conference held in Stone Mountain, GA, Heavenly Ham drew 10 names from the bin, each having a chance to open the car with a key. Buddy Catron, the 9th franchisee to attempt to unlock the door, was the lucky winner.

"This has been an incredible year for us, and winning the car tops it all off," Brenda Catron said. "We're overwhelmed by the response that our store has received in the community, and we feel honored to have been recognized by our franchisor partner, Heavenly Ham."
