haircolorxpress International Signs Leases to Open First Salons in Washington, D.C, New Jersey; Company Increases Presence in Florida

haircolorxpress International LLC (HCX) announced it has signed leases to open its first salons in Washington, D.C., and New Jersey as well as five new salons in Florida.

With three salons currently open in Florida and an additional three slated to open next month, haircolorxpress will have six salons in the state by the end of the first quarter.

Haircolorxpress has signed:

Washington, D.C.

A 10-year lease with Starwood Urban Retail V, LLC, for 1,411 square feet located at 3504 Connecticut Ave. in the Cleveland Park section of Washington, DC. Franchisee Sonal Roy, a licensed beauty professional, will own and operate the salon, which Haircolorxpress development agent, Tri-State Metro Territories, expects to open in May.

New Jersey

A five-year lease with ITA Properties, LLC, for 1,378 square feet located at 749 Bloomfield Ave. in West Caldwell, N.J. Haircolorxpress Development of Northern New Jersey is looking for a franchisee to own and operate the salon, which is expected to open in April.

• A 10-year lease with Starwood Urban Retail X, LLC for 1,687 square feet at 261 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, Fla. Haircolorxpress Development of Southwest Florida is looking for a franchisee to own and operate the salon, which is expected to open in May.
• A five-year lease with Regency Realty Group for 1,400 square feet at Grande Oaks Plaza, located at the intersection of Corkscrew Road and Interstate 75 in Estero (Fort Myers), Fla. Franchisee Will Rucker, a licensed beauty professional, will own and operate the salon, which Haircolorxpress of Southwest Florida expects to open in September.
• A five-year lease with Regency Centers, LP, for 1,415 square feet at Regency Square, located at 2330 Brandon Boulevard in Brandon, Fla. Franchisee Anna Berry, a licensed beauty professional, will own and operate the salon, which Haircolorxpress of Greater Tampa Bay expects to open in May.
• A five-year lease with Carollwood Palm, LLC, for 1,500 square feet at Palms at Carollwood Shopping Center, located at 13149 North Mabry Highway in Tampa, Fla. Haircolorxpress of Greater Tampa Bay is looking for a franchisee to own and operate the salon, which is expected to open in July.
• A four-year lease with Essex Property Management for 1,300 square feet at The Shops of Ponte Vedra, located on State Road A1A in Ponte Vedra Beach (Jacksonville), Fla. Franchisee Sandra Ort, a licensed beauty professional, will own and operate the salon, which Haircolorxpress Development of Northeast Florida expects to open in June.
