Garfield's Restaurant & Pub Signs Multi-Unit Franchise Agreement in Mississippi

Vincent F. Orza, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Eateries, Inc. announced the company had signed a new Franchise agreement for Garfield's Restaurant & Pub.

Mid South Casual Dining, Inc., has contracted to develop six (6) Garfield's Restaurant & Pub units in Mississippi. Principals of the company currently own and operate various hotels in Mississippi including Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn and Super 8 and plan to open their first Garfield's Restaurant & Pub in Jackson, Mississippi, by the end of the year. They will open an additional 5 Garfield's in the Jackson and Columbus-Tupelo markets over the next 6 years.

As with Eateries' other franchisees, these new restaurants will showcase Garfield's new free standing building and the light, colorful, display kitchen prototype design. "We are excited to have Mid South join our franchise family. They have proven themselves successful hotel operators over the years and the discipline and success they have enjoyed in that industry will translate quite well to ensure success with Garfield's. We believe they will be an outstanding member of our franchise team," said Orza.
