Dwyer Group Franchises to Spend More than $4 Million in TV Advertising in 2003

The Dwyer Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:DWYR) announced that its Franchise subsidiaries will spend more than $4 million to advertise nationally on selected television networks in 2003. Commercials for Mr. Rooter® [U.S. and Canada], Mr. Electric®, Aire Serv® Heating & Air Conditioning, Rainbow International® Carpet Care & Restoration Specialist, and Glass Doctor® will be aired throughout the year on major networks and cable networks.

"This is a new record in television dollars, making our branding power and consumer awareness the strongest ever," said Dina Dwyer-Owens, president and CEO of The Dwyer Group. "But the credit goes to the various franchisee advisory councils for spending their budgets wisely and guiding some very creative campaigns."

Commercials will be seen on NBC's "Today Show," ABC's "Good Morning America," CBS's "Sunday Morning," A&E, TNT, Discovery Channel, HGTV, Lifetime, Food Network, and more.

Saunders-Ream Marketing Communications Group, of Dallas, is handling the creative direction on commercials for Mr. Rooter, Aire Serv, Mr. Electric, and Rainbow International. E.M. Hutton Advertising, based in Sarasota, Fla., is overseeing commercials and media for Glass Doctor.
