Franchise News Release: Newark, NJ - (Oct-22-2002) Dunkin Donuts Targets Orlando for ExpansionAllied Domecq Quick Service Restaurants (ADQSR) today announced plans to significantly increase development of Baskin-Robbins, Dunkin' Donuts and Togo's stores in the Orlando, Florida area. Interested single and multi-unit operators and investors with the financial means and expertise necessary to successfully develop and run single and multi-brand locations are invited to an Open House at the Marriott Newark Airport Hotel in Newark, New Jersey on October 30 at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about the Franchise opportunity from corporate development, business, licensing, training and marketing executives.
Residents of Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Sumter and Volusia counties will soon enjoy much greater access to some of the nation's favorite coffee, baked goods, ice cream, sandwiches and salads. In order to execute ADQSR's growth strategy, which includes plans to add approximately 14 multi-brand locations by the end of 2003 with another 25 by the following August, qualified operators and investors are now being sought to take advantage of this opportunity. Residents of Orlando currently enjoy access to 44 Dunkin' Donuts, 27 Baskin-Robbins and four Togo's in a mix of single and co-branded locations. Co-branded locations allow operators the opportunity to leverage their investment in real estate, labor and equipment, according to Bruce Eubanks, ADQSR franchise licensing manager. "Our model allows franchisees to combine up to three proven businesses in one location," says Eubanks. "Each concept caters to a different daypart - breakfast and between-meal snacks with Dunkin' Donuts, lunch and dinner with Togo's and between meals and dessert with Baskin-Robbins - so pairing two or three brands under one roof helps keep customer traffic flowing through much of the day." Franchise opportunities for single and co-branded locations are now available for qualified candidates with $500,000 net worth ($300,000 liquid) as well as the willingness and expertise necessary to successfully develop and operate locations featuring one or more brands. ADQSR is hosting additional Open Houses for prospective Orlando franchise operators in Boston, Massachusetts on November 12 and in Orlando, Florida on November 20.
