Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins Target Detroit


Allied Domecq Quick Service Restaurants (ADQSR) today announced plans to increase development of co-branded Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins stores in the Detroit area. Interested multi-unit operators and investors with the financial means and expertise necessary to successfully develop and run multi-brand locations are invited to an Open House at the Marriott Hotel in Romulus on October 16, 2002 at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about the Franchise opportunity from corporate development, business, licensing, training and marketing executives.

Residents of Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Sanilac, Washtenaw and Wayne counties will soon enjoy much greater access to some of the nation's favorite coffee, donuts and ice cream. In order to execute ADQSR's growth strategy, which includes developing multiple points of distribution in the area over the next few years, qualified multi-unit operators and investors are now being sought to take advantage of this opportunity.

Dunkin' Donuts anchors ADQSR's brand presence in Detroit with 55 locations throughout the greater metropolitan area. Dunkin' Donuts also has an additional 15 locations co-branded with Baskin-Robbins. The strength of these two brands, paired with favorable demographic factors, makes Detroit ripe with opportunity for franchisees, according to Gary Hubert, ADQSR's Senior Market Executive for Detroit.

Developing co-branded locations, Hubert adds, will provide operators with the opportunity to leverage their investment in real estate, labor and equipment.
