Checkers Drive-In Restaurants Expands into La Crosse, Wisconsin

New franchisee signs three-location development agreement

Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc., the nation’s largest chain of double drive-thru restaurants and parent company of both Checkers® and Rally’s® concepts, announced that it has entered into a Franchise and development agreement with new franchisee, Mark Nolop, to build three new Checkers restaurants in La Crosse, Wisconsin, over the next five years.

Checkers currently has four restaurants in Wisconsin -- three in Milwaukee and one in Wisconsin Rapids. The franchise agreement with Mr. Nolop serves to further the Company’s growth plans for the Midwest. In this region, the chain has recently opened new locations and signed development agreements in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Ohio.

The exact locations for Mr. Nolop’s new Checkers restaurants are pending, but all three will be located in the La Crosse-area. Based in Tampa, Florida, Checkers Drive-In Restaurants, Inc. has more than 800 restaurants in 28 states.
