Carvel Ice Cream Introduces 21 New Fountain Menu Items And Refreshed Store Image

Carvel Corporation, the nation's first retail ice cream franchise, announced the introduction of 21 new fountain menu items to its product line. The new menu items include:

• Specialty Shakes - flavors include Chocolate Covered Banana, Peanut Butter Cup, Dulce de Leche, and Mudslide.
• Specialty Sundaes - flavors include Strawberry Shortcake, Fudgie Brownie, Carmel Apple, and Turtle.
• Creamaccinos™ - flavors include Classic, Mocha Fudge, and Caramel Cream.
• "Fudgie's Favorites" Kids Menu - sundae flavors include Candy Mountain and Dirt Bucket; shake flavors include six types of rainbow colors
• Two new cup/cone sizes

These new products are part of the company's recent store refreshment of over 90% o its 400 locations, which includes new interior paint colors, the expanded fountain menu, and a fun, new look to all merchandising materials. To celebrate Carvel's refreshed image, all participating Carvel locations will host an old fashioned Family Day Celebration on Saturday, April 26th. The day-long event will feature a "Buy One Get One Free" on the new items to include Specialty Sundaes, Shakes, and Creamaccinos, as well as Carvel favorites' Carvelanches™ and Flying Saucer® multi packs.
