This milestone sale took place at the BURGER KING® Restaurant located at 383 Mystic Avenue in Medford. Susan DeMarco purchased the 40 Millionth Chicken WHOPPER® sandwich and will receive a year's supply of Chicken WHOPPER® sandwiches, courtesy of Burger King Corporation. "Millions of Americans over the years have declared the original Burger King WHOPPER® sandwich as their preferred chicken sandwich," said Christopher E. Clouser, executive vice president and chief global marketing officer, Burger King Corporation. "Our new Chicken WHOPPER® sandwich has become an instant favorite and like the original WHOPPER® is rapidly on its way to becoming America's preferred chicken sandwich. Selling 40 million of these new sandwiches in less than two months is incredible and it's outperforming projections. Customers in Boston and across the U.S. love it!!" "With the success we are having the Chicken WHOPPER® and Chicken WHOPPER JR® we anticipate selling our 50 millionth Chicken WHOPPER® soon," Clouser said.
