ZLand.com Receives California-International Trade Award

ZLand.com was one of only two companies chosen from a candidate field of 50 high-tech entities.

The Partnering Award recognizes California companies that have done the most business as a result of their participation in Cal-IT. The trade and commerce agency uses the award to recognize companies that have gained a strong foothold in Europe.

ZLand.com CEO John Veenstra accepted the trophy from California Governor Gray Davis at the Cal-IT welcoming ceremonies held today at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London.

"ZLand.com looks forward to enhancing its relationships in the European community, where the number of small and mid-size businesses is three times that of the U.S. market."

An estimated $30 million has been invested in ZLand.com since its 1998 participation in Cal-IT, the annual investing and partnering forum, with over 250 total jobs and 100 European jobs projected by the year 2001.
