Wingstop opens 3rd location in St. Louis

Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., ranked number one chicken wing Restaurant chain by Entrepreneur Magazine, has opened a third location in St. Louis.

The Wingstop is at 3626 South Grand at the corner of Grand and Gravois.

Brad Wilemon is the owner/operator of the new Wingstop. He also opened a location in Florissant, Missouri in February of this year.

"The opening was great," said Wilemon. "We're excited to be open."

Wingstop hours are from 4:00 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 11:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Wingstop chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop features eight proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming-hot. Customers also choose from a variety of 28 domestic and imported beers, wine coolers, soft drinks and homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.

Wingstop currently has 122 restaurants in operation and another 133 under development in 22 states.

Entrepreneur magazine ranked Wingstop as number one in the chicken wing category and number five in the "Top 25 New Franchises" ranking in 2003.
