Four Wingstop Restaurants Open by May 1 in Houston Area

A total of eight Houston area Wingstop chicken wing restaurants will be fully operational by the beginning of May after four new stores open.

Jason Shamsi opened April's first Wingstop April 3 at 7332 Antoine Drive. Brandon Gawthorp will open the second later this month at 6164 Highway 6 North, and at the end of the month, Henry Van will open a Wingstop at 11009 Fuqua. Todd and Troy Beaver will follow with a May 1 opening of their first of four restaurants, which will be located at 9506 Spencer Highway in Pasadena.

Jim Deering, president of Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., said the Houston market has proven to be one of the most successful.

"We are very excited to see the success of these new stores opening in Houston," Deering said. "Houston has been one of our most productive markets thus far, and we expect great things from there."
