Wingstop opens 4th location in Kansas City

Wingstop Restaurants, Inc., ranked number one chicken wing Restaurant chain by Entrepreneur Magazine, has opened a new location in Kansas City.

The Wingstop is at 4313 NE Chouteau Trafficway in the Chouteau Crossing shopping center across from the Blockbuster Video.

Daniel and Brenda Ward and Tony and Andrea Ferguson are the owner/operators of the new Wingstop. Daniel is the manager.

"We're excited about introducing this concept to the north Kansas City area," said Daniel. "It's a great community and we think Wingstop will be an excellent addition."

Wingstop hours are from 4:00 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and from 11:00 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Wingstop chain offers restaurants with a nostalgic, aviation-themed atmosphere where the sole focus is on chicken wings. Wingstop features eight proprietary wing flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian Barbeque and Garlic Parmesan. The wings are always made-to-order and served steaming-hot. Customers also choose from a variety of 28 domestic and imported beers, wine coolers, soft drinks and homemade side dishes: fresh-cut seasoned fries, bourbon baked beans, pearl potato salad, vegetable sticks, rolls and assorted dipping sauces.

Wingstop currently has 118 restaurants in operation and another 133 under development in 22 states.

Entrepreneur magazine ranked Wingstop as number one in the chicken wing category and number five in the "Top 25 New Franchises" ranking in 2003.
