We're Rolling Pretzel Company sells first franchise!

The We're Rolling Pretzel Company sold its first Franchise earlier this month to Linda McFarland, of Cranberry, PA.

With two corporate owned stores in Ohio, We're Rolling Pretzel Company is aggressively pursuing new markets and plans to open a number of new stores in the coming months. In addition to traditional marketing efforts, We're Rolling Pretzel Company holds Discovery Days in target markets, seeking franchise locations in small and mid-size shopping malls.

"We've been to Athens, OH and Bluefield, W. VA., and should sell those Franchises by the end of the month," says Cheryl Carter, Director of Franchise Development. "We're pinpointing our markets, finding the right locations then going to the markets to locate the best franchisees."

We're Rolling Pretzel Company is a unique soft pretzel company that specializes in hot, hand rolled pretzels. All our products are made fresh on site. Our menu includes the original, raisin, cinnamon & sugar, toasted almond and other creative pretzel flavors like cajun, garlic and sour cream & onion. We also sell Knot Sandwiches such as Turkey, Classic Italian and Ham. Some of our biggest sellers include meal replacement items such as our own pizza pretzel and wide variety of ooey-gooey pretzel rods.

As part of its market development program, We're Rolling retains a real estate attorney to help new franchises lease retail space in shopping malls. "It's really important," says Carter. "We want to make sure the franchisees can get a space in the mall and we offer a lot of assistance to help them get started."

Comprehensive training, marketing and new store opening support are all part of the We're Rolling Pretzel Company system. New franchisees receive training at a corporate headquarters for themselves and their employees. Then the We're Rolling Pretzel Company corporate office helps promote the new locations with marketing and sales assistance and sends two to three corporate employees to help with the actual grand opening.
