Tutor Time to Open More Overseas Locations in 2000

Tutor Time Child Care/Learning Centers, will open new Child Care centers in Portugal, Hong Kong and the Philippines in 2000, in addition to centers already operating in Indonesia and Canada, making it the only American childcare company with locations outside of the U.S.

"Tutor Time's international expansion is an important part of our growth plans for the new millennium," said Al Novas, Tutor Time's Chief Financial and Development Officer. Tutor Time is currently in serious negotiations with parties in Thailand, Taiwan, Chile, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and several countries in the Middle East. Teresa Prazeres will open Portugal's first Tutor Time center in Lisbon, in the Summer of 2000.

"There is nothing similar to Tutor Time in my country, and the kind of quality, safety and care this American childcare company will offer Portugal will be greatly welcomed," Prazeres, a native of Portugal, said.

Tony Suria, of Surya Holdings (HK) Ltd., who also operates two Tutor Time centers in Indonesia, is planning to open Hong Kong's first Tutor Time in the Summer of 2000. James Concepcion, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Arcon Group Holdings, Inc., plans to open a Tutor Time in Manila, Philippines, in the Fall of 2000. In 1998, the first international Tutor Time centers opened in Jakarta, Indonesia, and in 1999, our first Canadian center opened in London, Ontario.
