Tony Roma's Signs Development Agreement for Brazil

Roma Systems, Inc., the international franchisor subsidiary of Romacorp, Inc., has signed a major agreement for the development of Tony Roma's® restaurants in Brazil.

Brent Corporation will develop a minimum of six new Tony Roma's restaurants in the central and southern regions of the country including Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The first location is being developed in one of the largest shopping malls in South America in a suburb of Sao Paulo.

"I am very excited to bring the Tony Roma's concept to Brazil," said Jin Chiang, President of Brent. "The brand is strong and our experience in Brazil indicates that Tony Roma's will be well received." Chiang was one of the first McDonald's franchisees in Brazil and also developed the first Roadhouse Grill in South America.
