THE BUYER'S AGENT, INC. Announces Opening of Regional Sales and Support Office (7/00)

THE BUYER'S AGENT, INC., the nation's largest Exclusive Buyer Agency Real Estate franchise has opened its first regional Franchise sales and support office in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Bill and Ronnie Griffin have contracted to provide franchise sales and support for the regional area comprised of North and South Carolina.

THE BUYER'S AGENT, INC. currently has five franchised real estate offices in the region. According to Tom Hathaway, the franchisor's president, the region will accommodate 106 offices. THE BUYER'S AGENT, INC., provides exclusive territories with a population of 100,000 per office.

The 12 year-old franchise is headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee and plans to sell regional rights to four areas this year. Mr. Hathaway said, "We are currently talking to two other groups who are very interested acquiring regional franchise rights. This is a great opportunity for energetic people who can take our concept and put it into practice in new areas. If they are disciplined and follow the program, we believe they can be extremely successful."
