TV America Announces Program to Sell Franchises Nationwide

The world's leading provider of television information, announced a new program to sell Franchises nationwide. The franchise, which will sell advertising both in a free TV listings magazine and on the Internet, will operate under the name TVAmerica.

"We've been in prototype development for the last two years," said Roger Moore, senior vice president of TVData and president of TVAmerica. "Now we're ready for growth. We expect we will have at least 100 franchises operating in the next five years."

The TVAmerica Franchise is the first of its type. While traditional Advertising franchises have focused on print publications and some of the newer franchises have focused on the Internet, the TVAmerica franchise is the first that will allow its franchisees to sell advertising into both media. "Our Website of TV listings, clicktv.com, receives 11 million page views per month," said Moore. "Each of our franchisees will have a co-branded site so we can customize our advertising packages by zip code. That's extremely powerful to small businesses."

The dual nature of this franchise will allow TVAmerica franchisees to take advantage of the newest trend in Internet space: the convergence of the television and the computer. "As these two media come together, our franchisees will be perfectly positioned to capitalize on the trend," said Moore.
