Introducing Steamatic's Home-Based Franchise Program

Steamatic is proud to announce our new Home-based Franchise Program. This concept was tested in our company owned Franchises in an effort to service outlying suburbs. It proved very successful and led to the development of a smaller franchise program.

The new Home-based Franchise will operate with an owner and one technician. A fully equipped 1-ton extended van or 14 ft. box truck features Steamatic's latest technology in truck mounted cleaning. As your franchise grows simply add more trucks. You set the pace and Steamatic is with you all the way. The Franchise will service an exclusive territory with a population up to 50,000. The Home-based Franchise will be able to provide both residential and commercial services for carpet cleaning, furniture & drapery cleaning, air duct & coil cleaning and water extraction services. Steamatic offers two weeks of complete training at our International Service Center as well as on-going field support.

Another area that sets Steamatic apart is exclusive territories -- 1 city, 1 franchise -- regardless of population. This gives our franchisees the opportunity to grow without competing against each other or having to jump over someone else's territory to grow.

Steamatic believes that communication is the key to a strong franchise system. We offer our franchise owners access to the Steamatic Support Central intranet web site. The site features on-line equipment and supply ordering, training materials, a Bulletin Board and Chat Room, Advertising and Marketing programs and materials, report filing and much more. For over 30 years, Steamatic has been Franchising locations around the world. Today, Steamatic owns and operates 9 franchise locations, is located in the U.S. with Master franchises in 21 countries, and over 400 franchise territories worldwide.

Steamatic has been developing our technology for over 50 years. Steamatic's Chief Engineer and Chief Chemist with our in-house Research & Development Department help keep our franchises on the cutting edge of the cleaning and restoration industry. We offer patented equipment and chemicals proprietary to Steamatic franchise owners. In fact, we invented the hot-water soil extraction method of cleaning, which is the cleaning method recommended by major carpet manufacturers to maintain carpet warranties. Our process uses super-heated water to remove dirt, contaminants & grease at the molecular level. Powerful vacuums then remove the dirt all the way to the base of the fiber. And, we never use shampoo or harsh chemicals.

As more countries develop strict Indoor Air Quality laws and standards, Steamatic is there offering solutions. Steamatic pioneered the Air Duct Cleaning industry over 20 years ago and developed patented equipment to remove contaminants.

With allergies, asthma and other respiratory illnesses dramatically increasing every year, the world began to focus on the air indoors. Pollutants like bacteria, mold fungus, dust, volatile organic compounds (VOC's), insect allergens, pollen, etc. accumulate in ventilation systems and can result in moderate to severe illnesses. With little exchange of fresh air, these contaminants can recirculate through buildings resulting in a condition commonly referred to as Sick Building Syndrome. Steamatic's state-of-the-art equipment, methods and technology clean and decontaminate the ventilation system utilizing several methods.
