SOLANA MEDSPAS ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP WITH SYNERON MEDICAL LTD

Clients and franchisees of Solana MedSpas expect to order some $1.2 million in Syneron medical equipment in the first half of fiscal 2005, with estimated purchases in excess of $2 million for the full fiscal year. The announcement was made by John Buckingham, chief executive officer of Solana MedSpas, an Irvine, Calif.-based management consulting firm that assists entrepreneurs and medical professionals to own a MedSpa Management Services Organization.

Syneron Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: ELOS) manufactures and distributes Medical aesthetic devices that are powered by the proprietary, patented ELOS combined-technology of Bi-Polar Radio Frequency and light. Syneron's innovative ELOS technology provides the foundation for highly effective, safe and cost-effective systems that enable physicians to provide advanced solutions for a broad range of medical-aesthetic applications including hair removal, wrinkle reduction, and skin rejuvenation.

"We have been exclusively recommending Syneron equipment since Solana's inception in July 2003," Buckingham states, noting that Solana currently has 24 consulting clients opening medspas. In the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 2004, Solana's first seven consulting and Franchise clients, located in four states, purchased over $700,000 in Syneron equipment including the Aurora, Galaxy, Polaris, and Synercool. In addition, several Vela units have been sold to medspas that are designated as investigational sites under a doctor's supervision. The projected purchases for 2005 represent almost a tripling of our 2004 figures," Buckingham says, adding that as Solana's business grows, so does its commitment to Syneron.

Solana MedSpas Management Consulting makes it possible for medical and non-medical professionals to own a MedSpa Management Services Organization (MSO), dedicated to providing the finest in facility and administrative services to licensed physicians who want to benefit from the burgeoning medical spa or medspa movement. Solana's consulting services include business plan development, site location and design, staffing and training of key personnel, and custom marketing.

MedSpas are spa-like facilities offering a variety of non-invasive anti-aging and skin rejuvenating procedures. Widely regarded as the "medical environment of the future," medspas are fast becoming the Preferred destination of the growing baby boomer generation for aesthetic skin care treatments. Medspa industry statistics report that the desire for a "stress-free" environment as well as access to more non-invasive alternatives and technology such as laser and other anti-aging solutions indicates steady triple figure annual growth for medspas within the next 10 years, with estimated annual revenues of $450 million and an annual growth rate of 11 to 14 percent.
