Snap Fitness Announces Expansion into Australia and New Zealand

Snap Fitness, the world’s fastest growing franchisor of compact, state-of-the-art fitness centers, announced today a partnership with a privately-held, Australian-based area development group headed by Rozlyn Barker, formerly of Goodlife Health Clubs, who brings with her over 20 years of health and fitness industry experience. The group is well-funded for its expansion goals and has plans to open between six and 10 locations in Australia and New Zealand by the end of 2009.

Launched in 2003, Snap Fitness, the world’s largest and fastest growing Franchise featuring compact, state-of-the-art fitness centers, currently has roughly 1,000 locations open and operating worldwide and projects to have more than 2,000 locations under development by the end of 2009. In addition to the U.S., Snap Fitness also currently operates clubs in Canada, India and Mexico.
