Sir Speedy Launches New Customer-Centric Web Site
Sir Speedy Inc., the world's largest provider of printing and copying services, is expanding its personalized approach to business with the launch of its new Web site, sirspeedy.com.
The site is designed to help build relationships between franchisees and their customers as well as to provide users with a customized ordering process.
"This is a simple but effective business philosophy. We are focusing on our customer's needs and providing an innovative way to help them achieve their goals," said Dan Beck, president, Sir Speedy. "Sir Speedy is doing more than just putting our products online. We're entering the e-commerce world by combining the convenience customers want with the personalization Sir Speedy is known for."
Free "key customer" registration is the beginning of the relationship-building process. Once registered, key customers can use the SirSpeedy MyDocs feature, an online Web-ordering system where customers can place their printing and copying documents online, and provides the customer one-click electronic ordering directly from their desktop for free.
"We're going in a direction that no other company in our industry has gone before," said Beck. "This Web model is truly unique in our industry, especially since Sir Speedy has the widest implementation of the technology. To top it off, the basic product is free."
sirspeedy.com also makes it easier to standardize and control documents across the nation or around the world by giving businesses instant Internet access to all of their documents. Through the site, businesses can set graphic standards for documents, update them as needed and then store the electronic files on Sir Speedy's secure servers. Authorized employees can then quickly access the files and order printed materials through the Web site. Sir Speedy's Global Digital Network centers will then produce the documents and deliver them whenever and wherever they're needed.
In addition, customers can use Sir Speedy's Design Online feature to create anything from business cards and letterhead to post-it notes and invitations online. Using a tutorial to guide them through the process, users can customize their materials, submit an order and arrange for delivery -- all from their desktop.
Sir Speedy, with headquarters in Mission Viejo, is the world's largest and most successful franchisor of printing, copying and document management services with more than 700 centers nationwide. The Sir Speedy Global Digital Network, with its alliance partners, spans nearly 1,100 centers in 23 countries.
