Charlotte Based Salsarita’s Opens in Miami

 Austin, TX Also Opens, Total of 13 Restaurants Open, Commitments for 200 More!

Salsarita’s is proud to announce the opening of Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina in Miami, FL, in conjunction with Charlotte based Compass Group North America. Their first of five Austin, TX restaurants also opened. A year ago, Salsarita’s had only five locations open, all in North Carolina. One year later, this rapidly growing Franchise has 13 restaurants open and another 12 under construction. This represents a presence in seven states, and signed commitments for another 200 around the country.

Salsarita’s has signed development agreements as far away as Minneapolis south to Dallas. According to restaurateur and founder Bruce Willette, who still owns the original Charlotte location, “We are well on our way to achieving our goal of becoming a national chain with 200 restaurants open over five years. Strategic partnerships with organizations like the Compass Group, along with our franchisee friendly policies will allow us to continue our growth track.”

Through the Compass Group, Salsarita’s will be able to expand rapidly into new markets with non-traditional locations in airports and colleges and universities around the U.S. Compass Group North America, with 117,000 associates and annual revenues in excess of $6.3 Billion, anticipates developing several Salsarita’s restaurants per year.
