Franchise News Release: Minneapolis, MN - (Aug-31-2011) Rapid Refill Announces First Ever Technology GrantOur schools print... a lot! Every supply list, class newsletter, worksheet or handout is an expense our schools incur. Rapid Refill and their customers are committed to the communities they live and work in and that’s why Rapid Refill is proud to announce their first ever Technology Grant contest, awarding a $1,000 Technology Grant to a nominated K-12 school or school district to help offset their printing requirements. "Through this grant and Rapid Refill’s partnership with our customers we hope to encourage people to get involved by nominating their school or school district. This is an easy way to make a difference in our communities,” said Rapid Refill President, Jason Block. "Rapid Refill, partnered with our customers, is fostering a love of learning, responsible printing and sustainable efforts for our communities’ children and their families." With the Rapid Refill $1,000 Technology Grant, families can show support of their communities’ schools and school districts by nominating them for the grant. In the next two weeks, people nationwide can nominate their school for the grant by posting a comment to the Rapid Refill Facebook wall indicating the name of their school nomination as well as the school’s location (City, State). Nominations are being accepted now through September 12th, 2011 with grant notifications delivered in late September. Qualified nominations must be posted to the wall of the Rapid Refill Facebook page. Limit one school nomination per person. Open to the continental US only. Restrictions may apply.
