Raising Cane’s Recognized as “Up & Comer” with Franchise Times Ranking

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers®, one of the fastest-growing Restaurant chains in the U.S., has been ranked number 48 on the Franchise Times list, “Up & Comers: 100 Companies on the Verge.” The list was compiled in conjunction with the publication’s “Top 200 franchise Systems” in the October issue.

“To have Raising Cane’s named to this prestigious list is an honor and testament to the continued growth and stability of our brand, our expanding network of franchisees and our great restaurant support center,” said Clay Dover, president of Raising Cane’s.

In order for a franchise to be considered for the list, they must meet the following criteria: A minimum of 20 percent of the company’s total units must be operated by franchisees and, the brand must be headquartered, or have a significant presence in the United States.

Raising Cane’s has been recognized for its innovative business model and commitment to quality with accolades such as being named to Restaurant Hospitality’s “Top 10 Growth Chains for 2008;” ranking second on Restaurant Business “Future’s Top 50 List;” winning Nation’s Restaurant News 2003 “Hot Concepts Award;” and being listed among the “Top 100 Movers and Shakers” in Fast Casual magazine.  The restaurant was also voted “Best New Restaurant” in Houston by the readers of the Houston Business Journal.
