Rainbow International® Carpet Care and Restoration Specialist has announced that it will change its name to Rainbow International® Restoration and Cleaning, effective immediately.

"As Rainbow International has grown to serve our national and international customer base, the range and demand of our services have grown as well," said David Bethea, president of Rainbow. "We continue to do more restoration work, and the look and name of our company needed to communicate that."

Rainbow International, the first and oldest Franchise subsidiary of The Dwyer Group family of companies, built a national reputation for carpet cleaning services and laid the foundation for the Dwyer Group's Franchising empire more than 21 years ago. Today, the franchise has evolved to offer water damage and fire damage restoration services, representing more than 50 percent of company sales.

Bethea said Rainbow franchisees will continue to offer the current menu of services, and carpet care will remain part of those services. However, the new brand name will be a better representation of everything that Rainbow offers.

Rainbow International Restoration and Cleaning will be incorporated into company uniforms, vans, letterhead, marketing pieces, advertising, and all materials that carry the company's brand name. In addition, the rainbow-colored striping on all vehicles will be omitted and replaced with red and blue striping.

"Our logo and our look are being updated just like our name," Bethea said. "The franchise network and the company's executives voted overwhelmingly in favor of the changes."
