QUIZNO'S Sells Bain's Deli Rights

DENVER (April 19, 1999) -- The Quizno's Corporation announced that it has sold the Franchising rights and obligations for most of the Bain's Deli's Franchise agreements and licensed the Bain's Deli trademark to Bain's Deli Corporation in Pennsylvania for $850,000, $800,000 of which is in the form of a promissory note.

QUIZNO'S® will retain control of 15 Bain's franchise agreements, which may be converted to QUIZNO'S Classic Subs in the future.

QUIZNO'S acquired the Bain's franchise system in late 1997.

An Italian-style deli which serves signature oven baked Classic Subs, QUIZNO'S has grown from 18 restaurants in Denver in 1991 to more than 500 restaurants open in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Japan today.
