Play N Trade Names Jeff Broviak Vice President of Brand Strategy

Play N Trade Franchise, Inc., one of the fastest-growing Franchises worldwide, today announced that retail video game expert Jeff Broviak has been named to fill the newly-created position of vice president of brand strategy, where he will be responsible for strengthening the company’s vendor relations. 

Broviak brings more than 20 years of retail buying, category management and merchandising experience to Play N Trade, including executive positions with Hollywood Entertainment/GameCrazy, Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Office Max. He was also chairman of the industry committee that worked with the U.S. Senate to establish the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) in 1994.

In his new role, Broviak will be responsible for developing and executing Play N Trade’s strategic product planning, selection, purchasing and placement programs. He will also broaden the scope of Play N Trade’s vendor relations to strengthen co-branding and joint marketing opportunities with video game publishers and manufacturers. He reports to Roger Lloyd, CEO of Play N Trade.
