Executives of the 135-unit Peter Piper franchise concept say they identified Salt Lake City among its first markets to target for franchise expansion based on extensive research from Buxton, the leading customer analysis firm for the retail industry. Buxton's findings turned up an ideal match between Salt Lake City's population and the lifestyles, behavior patterns and buying habits of typical Peter Piper's customers.

Established in 1973, Peter Piper focuses on delivering "90 minutes of magic" for its guests, made up largely of families and groups of all sizes and ages.
