Peter Piper, the Southwest's leading family dine-in pizza and entertainment Restaurant chain for more than 30 years, has announced plans to open nine Franchise locations in the Denver area, creating business opportunities for local entrepreneurs and boosting the region's economy by creating 450 new jobs in the community. Executives of the 135-unit Peter Piper franchise concept say they identified Denver among its first markets to target for franchise expansion based on extensive research from Buxton, the leading customer analysis firm for the retail industry. Buxton's findings turned up an ideal match between Denver's population and the lifestyles, behavior patterns and buying habits of typical Peter Piper's customers.

Established in 1973, Peter Piper focuses on delivering "90 minutes of magic" for its guests, made up largely of families and groups of all sizes and ages. Each restaurant offers fresh-baked pizzas, salads, side dishes and other menu items in a lively, fun and family-friendly environment that features an array of redemption, sports and video games, including interactive games for group play. Carryout is also available. With a community focus, Peter Piper offers school, team and other organization programs, including the Good Student Award, which recognizes excellence in academic achievement, good citizenship or achieving a particular goal. Typically around 8,500 square feet, the restaurants are popular destinations for birthday parties and sports team events.
