Cafe Classics, one of Western Canada’s premier roasters of Organic Fair Trade Coffees, has joined the retail specialty coffee market with the launch on “Pedro’s Organic Coffee Houses.” Pedro’s Organic Coffee Houses will be one of the only retailers in North America focusing solely on the sale of Organic Fair Trade Coffees – effectively raising the bar in the industry. The first of two corporate stores opened in May at the Madison Center (unit 105-1899 Rosser Street , Burnaby , BC ). The second corporate store opened June 17 on Vancouver ’s Prestigious Granville Island ( 1550 Anderson Street – across for the Kids only Market). The concept has already committed to two Franchise locations (White Rock and Vancouver), with plans to develop and additional 2-3 locations in BC and Alberta by the end of 2004.
