Nothing but Noodles Expands to the Central New York Market

Nothing but Noodles, a trendy new fast casual Restaurant chain based out of Scottsdale, Ariz., will be entering the Central New York marketplace in 2008.

Fresh Concept Group, LLC, a Syracuse, NY-based company, recently purchased the development rights to the Syracuse and Rochester territories.  There are plans for 3–5 restaurants to open in the Syracuse region and 5–7 in the Rochester region. 

“We are in the process of securing our first location, which we will be Franchising under an affiliated company,” claims Patrick Hummel, a partner with Fresh Concept Group, LLC.  The goal is to sell the Franchise rights for the remaining targeted areas within each region.

"The development potential in upstate New York is exciting," Hummel said.  "Fast casual dining is the fastest-growing segment of the restaurant industry, and we chose to invest in Nothing but Noodles because it offers a very unique menu that appeals to everyone.  In addition, the restaurant has a very warm and inviting design, offers high-quality food with upscale presentation, and dishes are made-to-order at a fast pace and in a casual, non-tipping atmosphere.”

Mr. Hummel wouldn’t specify where the first restaurant location is targeted because the lease has not yet been signed.  He also is looking for new investors interested in purchasing one or more Franchises to continue the growth within the Syracuse and Rochester markets.  

Nothing but Noodles is the fresh alternative to fast casual dining, offering global taste selections from Asian Pad Thai and Beef Stroganoff to a variety of pan-seared soups, hand-tossed gourmet salads, and delectable desserts.

Nothing but Noodles opened its first restaurant in 2001 and currently has over 20 locations open across 14 states with another 6 under construction.  Under its new Area Director Program, territories are starting to sell quickly, which is creating the momentum necessary to produce strong growth over the next few years.
