Roanoke’s NiteLites Outdoor Lighting to Sponsor Golf Events

Roanoke’s NiteLites Outdoor Lighting, to sponsor a golf hole and a long marshmallow drive competition at the Roanoke Regional Home Builder’s Association Golf and Tennis Outing.  The outing is scheduled for Monday, April 28 at the Roanoke Country Club beginning at 11:00 AM.  The day begins with registration, followed by lunch.  The golf and tennis competitions commence at 12:30 and 1:00 PM respectively. 

The Roanoke Regional HBA is a group of 450 firms representing 28,000 employees.  They promote programs that protect the environment while strengthening growth by participating in the governmental process.  The HBA gives back to the community through programs like Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley, the Rescue Mission’s Jubilee Acres Camp, the U.S. Marine’s Toys for Tots, and other positive local programs.  They also actively address local, state, and national housing issues; work with governmental agencies on regulations that affect the housing industry; and work toward professionalizing the building industry.
