New Horizons Becomes Largest Worldwide Network of Certified Internet Webmaster Authorized Training Partners (1/01)

New Horizons Computer Learning Centers Inc., the world's largest independent computer training company, Monday announced it has become the largest Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Authorized Training Partner (ATP) network, with 230 New Horizons CIW ATPs worldwide.

CIW is the industry-leading certification program for Internet professionals, defining the critical job roles and associated skills required to deploy today's e-business solutions. As a result of the ATP arrangement, New Horizons offers customers more choices for high-quality Internet skills training classes than any other computer-training provider.

"New Horizons has been working with ProsoftTraining.com to expand our network of CIW ATP centers," said Gene Longobardi, senior vice president for New Horizons' North American Operations.

"As the world leader in computer training, we intend to offer corporate customers, government institutions and individuals the widest selection of Internet training classes through our New Horizons Internet Professional Program (NHIPP)."

The CIW program offers Internet training focused on the critical job skills necessary for today's e-business, Web and Internet demands. CIW targets both current Internet professionals and those wanting to enter the information technology industry.

The certification program addresses a spectrum of skills including basic Internet skills, Internetworking, Web site design, Internet scripting, Internet application development, Java, Internet server administration, security and e-commerce. CIW programs are offered through traditional instructor-led training, computer-based courses and Web-based instruction.
