Lexington site of Nevada Bob's first store conversion

A Lexington retail outlet has been designated the showcase location for conversion of corporate stores to Franchise stores by Nevada Bob's Golf, Inc. ("Nevada Bob's") (TSE: NBC) the world's largest specialty golf retailer.

Doors open on the new era for the Nevada Bob's Golf location at Nicholasville Road in Lexington on Sunday, August 27. The store will now be owned and operated by veteran franchisees Amy and Darek Jablonski, who also own a Nevada Bob's Golf store in Chattanooga, TN.

"The expansion of operations by veteran franchisees is indicative of the strength of the Nevada Bob's brand as both an investment and as a valued customer experience," said JJ Sorrenti, COO franchise Division, Nevada Bob's Golf.

Divesting the vast majority of its 85 remaining corporate stores is a short-term goal of the Company to continue to quickly penetrate key strategic markets throughout North America, provide focused support programming for the franchise system and continue to add value to customers.

Today's announcement brings the Nevada Bob's global network to 196 franchise outlets and 85 corporate stores. Corporate offices for the Company are located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Company's stock trades under the symbol "NBC" on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
