Mosquito Squad Receives “World-Class Franchise” Designation

Mosquito Squad mosquito control, one of the most respected and fastest-growing outdoor pest control Franchises in North America is also the most recent Franchise to receive “World-Class Franchise^®” certification by the franchise Research Institute^® and FranSurvey^®.

The recognition comes after an independent survey by the Franchise Research Institute of 85% of the Mosquito Squad franchisees to determine their level of satisfaction with their franchisor and other feedback on the Mosquito Squad mosquito control franchise system.

"Visionary franchise companies understand the importance of really understanding what their franchisees think about the system," said Jeff Johnson, president of the Franchise Research Institute. "And by using an unbiased third-party, it allows them to obtain honest feedback which, in turn, allows them to identify what they are doing right as well as areas they can improve."

The results, according to Johnson, are indicative of a very enthusiastic, energetic franchisee community.

The survey asked Mosquito Squad mosquito control franchise owners to rate their franchisor through a series of questions regarding overall growth potential, quality, support, communication and other areas. In each, from 88 to 100 percent of franchisees rated Mosquito Squad in the positive categories.

It takes a very strong franchise training and support program to obtain this high level of satisfaction" said Johnson. 

For Chris Grandpre, President and CEO of Mosquito Squad’s parent company, Outdoor Living Brands, the results reinforce that decisions made at the corporate level are, in fact, helping franchisees build strong businesses, despite the economic environment.

"We asked the Franchise Research Institute to survey our Mosquito Squad mosquito control franchisees to identify ways to improve the franchise system and our support of their efforts to grow their businesses," said Grandpre. "While it is still too early to see definitive results, we absolutely believe the survey gave us good management information to act on and provides strong third party evidence of our very strong franchisee validation. We are especially proud that 100 percent of the franchisees surveyed would recommend Mosquito Squad to a prospective franchisee."
