Franchise Owner Joins Moran Industries, Inc. Management Team

Moran Industries, Inc., one of the nation’s leading franchisors of automotive aftermarket centers, recently announced the hiring of Charles “Chip” Baldine as the company’s new operations manager.

Baldine, who is originally from Memphis, Tenn., and now resides with his wife in Yorkville, was previously the owner of a Multistate Transmission shop at 79th and Kedzie in Chicago, which is one of Moran Industries Franchise brands. Prior to owning and running that store, Baldine was a sales team leader and service manager for Bill Heard Chevrolet in Colliersville, Tenn. He has been working with Moran Industries since becoming a franchisee and relocating to the Chicago area two years ago.

“I am thrilled to be able to bring on board a qualified, hard-working individual from within our franchise system,” said Barb Moran, president and CEO of Moran Industries, Inc. “Chip is the ideal candidate to share his experiences to support and encourage our entire system of franchise owners.”

As operations manager, Baldine will be responsible for analyzing weekly reports from franchise stores (primarily focusing on Mr. Transmission and Multistate Transmission locations), assisting the general manager of franchise operations and attending new center openings for assigned regions.

“I am excited about joining the home office of Moran Industries and the opportunity I have been given. I enjoy being able to assist other franchise owners by answering their questions, helping solve problems, and providing the support they need,” Baldine said.
