Texas' 12th Microtel Inn & Suites Opens at El Paso International Airport

ATLANTA (December 4, 1999) -- El Paso Hotels, L.L.C. and Atlanta-based U.S. Franchise Systems, franchisor of the Microtel brand, have opened Texas' 12th Microtel Inn & Suites at 2001 Airway Blvd at the El Paso International Airport. Microtel is the fastest growing chain of all newly-constructed, budget/economy hotels in the U.S. Additional Microtels in Texas are located in Dallas (five), Ft. Worth, Houston, Longview, McAllen, San Antonio and San Marcos.

The three-story, 77-room Microtel features single, double and suite accommodations, all with queen beds. Amenities include expanded cable television programming with CNN, ESPN and HBO, room service and 24-hour coffee. The hotel is the only budget property within walking distance of the airport.
