Mr. Haith, inspired by the constant long lines of smoothie consumers at the Maui Wowi carts at the Utah Arts Festival and the Park City Arts Festival, offered a partnership to the Summerhays. Haith acquired the company in January, 1998 and has since refined the franchise program in preparation for worldwide expansion.

There are two (2) available levels of franchise investments. The franchise fee for a Location Franchise is $12,000 and includes the rights to operate as many carts as one would like at one address like a mall or convention center. A Mobile Franchise fee is $20,000 and the franchisee may operate up to three (3) carts and operate at multiple locations and may travel anywhere in the United States. The total investment varies depending upon the amount of initial equipment and inventory purchased.
