Maui Wowi Fresh Hawaiian Blends Announces New Vice President of Franchise Development

Maui Wowi, the leading franchisor of gourmet Hawaiian Blends, all-natural refreshments sold at malls, universities, stadiums, and various events nationwide, recently announced the appointment of Mike Edwards as new Vice President of Franchise Development.

Edwards, who joined Maui Wowi Fresh Hawaiian Blends in February 2002 as Manager of franchise Development, has more than 12 years of experience in franchising, strategic planning, business development, sales and operations.

"I believe that Mike Edwards' excellent track record and experience will continue to serve as an asset to Maui Wowi as he manages the company's franchise development," said Michael Haith, CEO of Maui Wowi Fresh Hawaiian Blends. "He will work with our entire team to drive new franchise sales throughout the entire system."

Edwards has an extensive background in the Franchising and business world, which includes a position as the Regional Sales Director for the General Nutrition Corporation (GNC), where he managed the company's East Coast operations.

As the new Vice President of Franchise Development for Maui Wowi Fresh Hawaiian Blends, Edwards' duties include working with the development team to drive new franchise sales, as well as implementing an overall development plan, including international expansion, to achieve annual growth goals.
