Maid Brigade Pledges To Help Clean Up the Streets

Maid Brigade's commitment to the community developed into a partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in the Spring of 2005. MADD has helped to save more than 300,000 lives since its founding in 1980. MADD's mission is to stop drunk driving and prevent underage drinking through awareness, education and advocacy efforts.

Bart Puett, President, expressed his sentiments: “We feel it is very important for us to give back to the communities we serve. We are working with MADD because the dangers of drunk driving impact each and every one of us every day - as individuals collectively, as a community”.

Maid Brigade locations are locally owned and operated, which encourages a closer relationship with their clients. Numerous Maid Brigade offices currently support local charities and events, so the opportunity to make a difference with a national organization was enthusiastically welcomed. Participating Maid Brigade offices distributed MADD red ribbons to their clients to be placed on a car antenna as a pledge to always drive safe and sober. Furthermore, Maid Brigade business owners such as Lisa Saxton in Portland, Oregon, go one step further by providing “Driver's Safety Education” to team members.
