Little Caesars to Open Three Restaurants in Guatemala

DETROIT (November 5, 1999) -- Little Caesars will enter the country of Guatemala for the first time with three restaurants opening simultaneously in Guatemala City. The Franchise owner is Mr. Robie Dalton.

A triple grand opening celebration is planned for Sunday, November 7, the country's Election Day, and includes a unique election tie-in. A local DJ is running a mock campaign for "office" under the campaign slogan "mas comida!" meaning "more food!" Any customer voting for this DJ at any of the three Little Caesars restaurants will receive a free slice of pizza.

Little Caesars is the first pizza chain to introduce square pan pizza in Guatemala. Unique toppings to the area include loroco, a very fragrant local vegetable, and Caprese!Caprese!, which features buffalo mozzarella cheese. Little Caesars is also offering a 6" round pizza.
