Liberty Fitness Franchise CEO Named Chair of the Business Women's Network

The Business Women's Network (BWN), a Washington, D.C.-based company providing information and resources for women entrepreneurs and business "people," recently named Linda Burzynski, president and chief executive officer of Liberty Fitness, as it's chairperson. As BWN chair, Burzynski will be responsible for business planning and development related to memberships, sponsorships, events, publications and speakers and serving as one of several key spokespersons. "I am thrilled to have the honor of being the chair of BWN," Burzynski said. "As women continue to become more successful throughout the world, largely because of the sacrifices and tremendous progress of those who paved the way before us, we now have an opportunity and responsibility to mentor and promote women and diversity.

Burzynski's company, Liberty Fitness, is a women's health club Franchise with 60 clubs that provide a 30-minute workout using six-level adjustable hydraulic equipment with an emphasis on fitness, nutrition and wellness. Prior to Liberty Fitness, Burzynski was the chief executive officer of CM IT Solutions, where she led expansion in 30 states with more than 120 Franchises providing outsourced information technology solutions to businesses. She continues to serve on CM IT's board of directors.

She also served as president and chief operating officer of Molly Maid Inc., leading the company's growth from $12 million in client revenue to more than $86 million within a five-year period. Prior to Molly Maid, Burzynski served as senior vice president of operations for Interiors by Decorating Den.

She has also served on the IFA's Women and Minorities Committee, Awards Committee, and as the charter chair of the Women's Franchise Committee. In 2003, she was elected to IFA's board of directors..
